72 families from Kazan received the keys to new social housing apartments
In the residential complex "Makhabbat" of the residential area "Salavat Kupere" of Kazan, the settlement of the 72-apartment building No. 18 on I. Shakirov Avenue has begun. It was built at the expense of investments from the State Housing Fund under the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and allowed us to fulfill one of the main tasks of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2019 — to provide affordable and comfortable housing for our citizens.
Among the newcomers are public sector workers, a grantee doctor, young and large families, as well as employees of enterprises investing in the implementation of the social library program.
The house has two entrances, nine residential floors. All apartments are equipped with plumbing fixtures, electric stoves, fire alarm sensors, water meters, electricity meters, heat regulators and an automatic remote data reading system. The residential complex "Makhabbat" is designed taking into account modern urban requirements – these are comfortable common areas, courtyards without cars, recreation areas according to age preferences, there is everything for a relaxing holiday and noisy games.
The first three houses of the residential complex "Makhabbat" with 420 apartments were occupied at the end of 2023. In total, the residential quarter will consist of 14 houses of variable height (10-18 floors) for 2003 apartments. The technical readiness of the remaining houses under construction in the quarter varies from 9% to 50%.
In 2023, the State Housing Fund built 64 houses with a total area of 160.7 thousand square meters throughout the republic and provided comfortable housing for 2,966 Tatarstan families under affordable preferential terms of a social mortgage. In 2024, the State Housing Fund plans to build 56 houses for 3299 apartments with a total area of 161.7 thousand square meters in the cities and districts of Tatarstan.
