Online voting for landscaping facilities is taking place throughout Russia until April 30. In Tatarstan, the work of volunteers has been organized to help residents take part in it: they tell you about the participating objects and show you how to cast a vote for the one you are interested in.
548 volunteers work in busy places in cities and districts.
"Traditionally, our volunteers help residents in online voting. Activists show the voting process, tell us which landscaping facilities can be selected. After all, it is the residents of the Republic who determine these places," explained Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Aigul Sabirova.
The task of the volunteers is to attract public interest in the improvement of their hometown.
"Every year we conduct thorough preparations for the implementation of the volunteer program and conduct personal monitoring of volunteer work points in the republic," said Airat Mubarakshin, Executive Director of the Information Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Recall that the All-Russian online voting was organized within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment", which was initiated by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
You can take part in it on the project's website, on the Tatarstan public services portal or in the RT Services application
Tatarstan citizens can vote for public spaces that will be landscaped as a priority in 2025, take part in the formation of the top 200 yards for renovation under the "Our Yard" program and talk about the pros and cons of sites where work has already been completed.
Voting has been held since 2017. In 2023, as part of the project, volunteers distributed 40,000 leaflets with information materials with a link to the vote. Also, during the implementation of the volunteer program, employees of the ANO "Information and Resource Center of Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan" visited the districts and noted the readiness of the event venues.
