The issue of construction debris was discussed at the Dialogues conference
On April 27, within the framework of the VII Urban Planning Conference "Dialogues – Spring Meetings", a round table was held on the issues of waste management of construction and repair. The event was attended by experts in the field of ecology, representatives of ministries and private organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Diana Krasnova, Head of the Waste Management Department of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented a report on legislation in this area. Ruslan Allakhverdeev, Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, discussed measures to eliminate unauthorized landfills. Evgenia Fagimova, General Director of Grint LLC, informed about the accumulation of construction and repair waste at container sites of solid municipal waste, moderated the meeting Azhimova Lilia, Advisor to the Raisa RT on environmental issues.
The conference participants proposed changes to legislation to improve waste management, outlined steps to strengthen control and compliance with environmental standards. It was decided to create a working group to monitor the implementation of proposals and hold regular meetings to coordinate efforts.
The next round table is scheduled for the end of 2024 to assess progress and adjust measures.
