Tatarstan is an active user of the Incentive program of the federal Housing project

National projects have been implemented in the regions of Russia since 2019. Federal projects that are part of national projects combine a set of tasks aimed at improving the quality of life in the country and responding to the needs of citizens.

"Over the past 5 years, thanks to federal projects of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" under the program "Formation of a comfortable urban environment", 65 thousand public and courtyard spaces have been landscaped, 1.2 thousand water supply and sanitation facilities have been created under the federal project "Clean Water", 800 infrastructure facilities under the program "Incentive" of the federal project "Housing", – said the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin.

According to the Minister, the synchronization of federal projects in the process of constructing new housing facilities allows the implementation of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" with maximum efficiency, developing territories comprehensively, and contributes to the achievement of the national goal of creating a comfortable and safe environment for life set by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

A striking example of the synchronicity of federal projects is the Salavat Kupere microdistrict in Kazan, where 700 thousand m2 of housing has been commissioned. According to the "Incentive", more than 7 km of roads were built, a school for 1,224 places, a kindergarten for 260 places, a park with an area of 45 thousand m2 was landscaped according to the project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment".

The Incentive program of the federal Housing project made it possible to build an entire microdistrict in Kazan in a short time. To date, the first stage of construction of residential buildings has been fully completed here and the second stage of construction of residential buildings is approaching its logical completion.

"We were able to achieve such results thanks to the implementation of the Incentive program. In particular, pre–built water supply and sanitation networks, access roads within the framework of the program allowed us to build up a suburb of Kazan called the residential complex "Salavat Kupere", where about 35 thousand people already live today," said Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan

Along with the construction of housing on the territory of the residential complex, a social infrastructure for comfortable living is being created. And as part of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" in Salavat Cooper in 2021-2022, one of the largest parks with an area of 45 thousand square meters was landscaped. In total, 225 public spaces have been landscaped in the republic during the implementation of the federal project.
