The development of digitalization of the construction industry will be discussed in Kazan

On July 10, 2024, Kazan will host a session within the framework of the business program of the International Specialized Exhibition of Construction and Finishing Materials, technologies and equipment "STROIKA" on the topic "Barriers and opportunities for innovation and digitalization in the field of development".

At the Kazan Expo IEC, participants will discuss issues of import substitution of software, electronic document management, automation of processes, introduction of innovative technologies in construction and others.

Tatarstan took the third place in the ranking of regions in terms of construction volumes in early 2024. In total, 25.4 million square meters were built in Russia in the first quarter, which is 20% more than in the same period of 2023. The data show that the pace of construction is growing every year, during the same period (1st quarter of 2024) new projects in the country were launched by 15.5 million square meters (+14% per year).

In this regard, the state has initiated the development of an analogue of the BIM platform, and is also carrying out a number of reforms to digitalize the development sector.
