New types of petrochemical products used in the construction industry were presented to the Rais of Tatarstan

The issues of expanding the use of republican petrochemical products in the construction industry were discussed today at a round table within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum at Kazan Expo. The round table meeting was attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of republican ministries and departments, heads of petrochemical enterprises and a specialized educational institution – KGASU, representatives of design, construction organizations and customer services. The meeting was moderated by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

The Rockvool company presented an innovative material for flat roofs of industrial and civil facilities. The principle of double density products is that the structure of one plate combines the upper durable layer and the lower softer one. The company's second project is a super-thin acoustic solution made of stone wool with a thickness of only 10 mm, designed for sound insulation of wall, floor and ceiling structures. The material is absolutely eco-friendly and fireproof, can be used in children's rooms and medical institutions.

SafPlast company presented a new product for construction – profiled polycarbonate. The material can be used for warehouses, entrances, canopies, transparent inserts. The service life is at least 14 years.

Among the implemented projects of Polyplast-UralSib are the production of polymer powders for dry building mixes, the production of liquid complex additives for the construction industry, the production of polycarboxylates and the launch of the production of polyethylene glycols.

Pakol company presented a set of modern solutions for the repair, reinforcement, restoration and waterproofing of building structures.

The system of instrumental diagnostics of waterproofing coatings and leak prevention "Controlit/Izotest" was presented by the Panorama company. This is a unique patented technical solution designed for early diagnosis of damage to waterproofing systems in order to prevent leaks. This equipment allows you to reduce the risk of leaks by 90% and increase the service life of the roof by 2 times.

The Rais of Tatarstan thanked all the speakers. He instructed to consider the possibility of using the presented materials at the construction sites of the republic. "A very useful meeting, interesting projects. We need to actively promote them," he said.

The Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan also recalled that a large-scale program for the modernization of housing and communal services systems is planned in Tatarstan, and petrochemical products of Tatarstan production will be in demand as part of this work.
