The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the current situation in the housing construction market and topical issues related to the launch of new projects and project financing. The meeting was held by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
It was also attended by Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Ilya Wolfson, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as well as heads and representatives of leading banks and developers.
The topic of discussion was the situation with sales and project financing after the cancellation of preferential mortgages and the increase in the key rate by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the conditions of IT and family mortgages, as well as the search for new tools to stimulate the housing market. Also, developers and representatives of banks presented their proposals for maintaining the housing construction market.
Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered up-to-date information on the housing market in the Republic of Tatarstan. As of today, there are 535 permits for the construction of apartment buildings with a total area of 4,971.79 thousand square meters. The area of the MKD under construction is more than 3 million square meters.
"Taking into account the current situation in the economy - the completion of the "Preferential Mortgage" program, the adjustment of the conditions for the implementation of family and IT mortgages, the increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, there is a fear that the construction industry will find itself in a difficult situation while maintaining the volume indicators of housing construction," the deputy minister noted.
In September of this year, the number of mortgage loans decreased by 60% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, in October of this year, the volume of housing sales amounted to 13 billion 317 million rubles, a decrease of 40.9% compared to October last year.
Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, provided information on measures and programs undertaken by the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation to resolve the situation on the project financing market in Russia.
Representatives of banks and developers also made reports on the current situation in the republic.
