The second line of the Kazan Metro will connect five districts of the city: Privolzhsky, Sovetsky, Novo-Savinovsky, Moskovsky and Kirovsky. The construction of distillation tunnels has been completed between the Tulpar, Zilant and Akademicheskaya stations, and work is underway on the construction of distillation tunnels between the Akademicheskaya and 100th Anniversary of the TASSR stations. Work is also underway on the construction of a connecting line from Dubravnaya station to the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station.
