Construction of the first section of the second metro line continues in Kazan
The second line of the Kazan Metro will connect five districts of the city: Privolzhsky, Sovetsky, Novo-Savinovsky, Moskovsky and Kirovsky. The first section, 5.37 km long, includes four stations: "100th Anniversary of the TASSR" (Julius Fuchik St.), "Akademicheskaya" (intersection of Fuchik and Zavoysky Streets), "Zilant" (intersection of Fuchik and Lomzhinskaya Streets), "Tulpar" (intersection of Pobedy Avenue and St.Sakharova).
Waterproofing, reinforced concrete structures of the station, etc. are currently being installed at the Tulpar and Zilant stations.
The excavation, waterproofing, and installation of the main reinforced concrete structures of the station are being developed at the Akademicheskaya station.
Drilling piles have been installed at the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station, soil is being developed and the foundation pit is being fixed, a roughing tray is being installed, etc.
The construction of distillation tunnels has been completed between the Tulpar, Zilant and Akademicheskaya stations, and work is underway on the construction of distillation tunnels between the Akademicheskaya and 100th Anniversary of the TASSR stations. Work is also underway on the construction of a connecting line from Dubravnaya station to the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station.
