In 2025, 51 public spaces will be improved in Tatarstan under the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment". The program is implemented within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
The renovation program includes 7 facilities that won the All-Russian Competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. These are, in particular, the projects "Upper Promenade of the Sviyaga coast" in Sviyazhsk, Zelenodolsk municipal district, "Development of Vokzalnaya and Ometova Streets" in the city of Agryz, Agryz municipal district, "Quantum Boulevard" in Innopolis, Verkhneuslonsky municipal district, "Arsky plots - a new life of the historical quarter" in the city of Arsk, Arsky municipal district.
In addition, according to the results of successful participation in the competition, the Kamashevo landscape park in the city of Mendeleevsk, Mendeleevsky municipal district, and the Polukamushki historical quarter of Zelenodolsk in the Zelenodolsk municipal district will acquire a new look. A comprehensive development of Lenin Street in the area from Leo Tolstoy Street to Narimanov Street is planned in Chistopol.
In total, over 1 billion 719 million rubles have been allocated for the improvement of 51 parks and squares. Of these, almost 244 million are funds from the national budget.
The national project "Infrastructure for Life" is aimed at the integrated development of settlements. Among other things, it is planned to build and repair housing and roads, improve public and courtyard spaces, create and update all related social and communal infrastructure.
