The best workers of housing and communal services of the republic were honored in Kazan

A solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Housing and Communal Services Workers took place today.

Rustam Nigmatullin, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, addressed the veterans and workers of housing and communal services.

In his congratulatory speech, the Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed that housing and communal services today is one of the most important and socially significant sectors of the economy, which is undergoing systemic changes. "Every year our cities and villages are transformed, becoming more convenient, safer, more comfortable, and in many ways this is the result of the well-coordinated work of tens of thousands of people employed in the housing and communal services sector. The quality of life of millions of Tatarstan citizens depends on your professionalism, responsibility and attentive attitude to people," the minister said.

According to M.Aizatullin, a program of major repairs of apartment buildings has been carried out for 17 years. Hundreds of millions of rubles are being allocated for these purposes. By the decision of the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, an additional 3 billion rubles will be allocated this year, and most of these funds are planned to be used to replace elevators.

The Our Yard program, which was launched in 2020, is being implemented on an unprecedented scale. By the end of this year, according to the minister, it is planned to repair more than 5,800 house territories.

The program for the construction and reconstruction of water supply facilities in populated areas, which was launched 15 years ago, continues;

"In 2023, we started large-scale work on the modernization of municipal infrastructure in urban settlements. This year, thanks to the decision of the Raisa, the volume of the program will reach 11 billion rubles and more than 370 kilometers of heating, water supply, and sanitation networks will be modernized," the minister noted.

Marat Aizatullin congratulated the employees and veterans of the industry on their professional holidays and expressed his sincere gratitude to them for their dedication, responsibility and many years of conscientious work.

During the solemn event, state and republican awards were presented to the best workers of the housing and communal services of Tatarstan.
