An expanded meeting of the Board of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan was held

Individual housing construction, its condition and development, problems and solutions were discussed by the participants of the expanded meeting of the Board of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, held at the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event, chaired by Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, was attended by representatives of the relevant Ministry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, members of the Union's Board, heads of Tatarstan's largest construction organizations, industry educational institutions, self–regulatory organizations in the field of design and construction, etc. The heads of the executive committees of municipalities joined the discussion via video conferencing.  ASRO "Commonwealth of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan" was represented by Director Artur Saubanov, his deputy Aida Subkhankulova, heads of departments, responsible employees of the Association.

Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, stressed the relevance of the topic of residential housing, taking into account the growing volume of construction and expressed confidence that the discussion and exchange of experience would contribute to the further development of this area.

Nikolai Vasiliev, a leading specialist at the State Unitary Enterprise "Institute of Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan", outlined in his speech the ways to form urban planning potential for individual housing construction in the agglomerations of Tatarstan. He expressed confidence that the time of spontaneous suburban developments, as it was in Soviet and post-Soviet times, is over. It is time for forecasting and accurate planning, including on the basis of new tools such as data from mobile operators, etc.

Elvira Galyautdinova, Vice-President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, federal expert on development, stated in her speech about the need for a preliminary analysis in the development of territories to exclude spontaneous development. Valery Peskov, Vice President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the STEINBLOCK Group of Companies, spoke about the use of his company's technologies in the construction of low-rise buildings and residential housing.

Sergey Stepanov, Director of CORNER LLC, and Artur Hafizov, General Director of Little Tokyo LLC, shared their experience in creating low-rise projects using the example of the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tatarstan. The developers paid special attention to the quality of the construction of residential housing facilities, emphasizing that banks that finance construction, including through escrow accounts, do not control the quality in the current reality, which can lead to negative consequences in the near future.

The Director of corporate business of the Kazan Regional Center of Bank DOM JSC told about banking products for residential housing and the construction of residential buildings under construction contracts using escrow accounts. RF" Irina Yashina and a specialist of JSC "Bank DOM. Russian Federation" by Lenar Bariev.

Pavel Archiereev, Chief Engineer of the Institute of Construction and Technical Expertise, spoke about current trends in the design of low-rise residential complexes, risks and violations in residential housing. In his opinion, today it is necessary to strengthen work on the organization and implementation of external qualified construction control according to uniform, approved standards, with an analysis of project documentation. In addition, it is necessary to conduct training and certification of personnel involved in construction, as well as introduce certification of residential housing facilities and create a publicly accessible digital model of the facility.

At the end of the event, Ilshat Gimaev thanked all the speakers and participants of the meeting for their activity, topical issues, and desire to build a dialogue based on professionalism and partnership.
