Landscaping of the Kamashevo landscape Park has begun in Mendeleevsk according to the national project
In August, the Kamashevo Landscape Park will be built on the site of the former Khimik stadium in Mendeleevsk.
The territory is located in the central part of the city and consists of a football field with a running track with an area of over 1 hectare. The site is overgrown with wild shrubs and trees, and they are currently being dismantled and the vegetation layer of the soil is being removed.
According to the project, the first stage provides for the reconstruction of the territory with the construction of new pedestrian and jogging paths, the installation of lighting with the addition of a video surveillance system, the side stones were replaced, concrete paving stones and asphalt were laid. An apple orchard will be planted here, playgrounds and sports complexes will be created.
The builders will also completely renovate the historical place, the so-called "shell", where residents used to gather for concerts and dances. As a result, there will be a recreation area with its own amphitheater.
In addition, there will be many small architectural forms in the park: exercise equipment, benches, urns, swings.
Last year, Mendeleev residents took an active part in the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. As a result, Kamashevo Landscape Park is one of the 7 winning facilities included in the Tatarstan public Spaces improvement program this year.
In total, 51 public spaces will be improved in the republic in 2025 under the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment", which is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". More than 1 billion 719 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes, including almost 244 million from the national budget.
