Today, the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications held a briefing on the organization and conduct of online voting on the selection of public territories for landscaping in 2026. Vladimir Kudryashev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in it.

On april 21, the All-Russian online voting on the selection of public and courtyard territories for landscaping in 2026 started. The voting will last until June 12, and the winning facilities will be transformed under the federal program "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment", which is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", and the republican program "Our Yard".

According to Vladimir Kudryashev, the involvement of the public both at the stage of public discussions during the selection of territories and at the design stage has been successfully applied in Tatarstan since 2015.

"It was Tatarstan that became the "ancestor" of the federal program for creating a comfortable urban environment. The republic's experience was highly appreciated by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, as a result, it was offered to be broadcast throughout Russia. The practices and regulations developed in Tatarstan have been incorporated into the federal standards of landscaping," the Deputy minister noted.

Since 2018, the annual Rating Vote on the selection of public space projects has become a prerequisite for the implementation of the federal program "Creating a comfortable Urban Environment".

In the process of its implementation, residents are actively involved through rating voting to determine the priority objects of the program, gatherings, public discussions of projects, meetings, public opinion research, participation in clean-up activities at facilities in close cooperation with local governments. In 2024, 421,806 people participated in the voting.

Vladimir Kudryashev reminded me. that online voting on the definition of priority projects in 2026 will be conducted on the Portal of state and Municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan through the service "Surveys of residents" and in the mobile application "Services of the Republic of Tatarstan". "As last year, the vote on the selection of public territories is planned to be combined with the vote on determining the priority list of courtyard territories of the republican program "Our Yard," said the Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The list of public spaces proposed for voting will include 283 facilities in all 45 municipalities of the republic, as well as 812 courtyards.

In total, from 2015 to 2024, 422 public spaces were renovated in Tatarstan in all municipal districts of the republic, Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. The total amount of invested funds exceeds 26 billion rubles.

In 2025, as part of the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", it is planned to equip 63 facilities worth about 2 billion rubles.

In addition, Tatarstan annually participates in the All-Russian Competition for the best projects for creating an urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. By the time the competition was launched in 2018, the republic had already accumulated serious experience in the development of public spaces, and had become one of the regions with the largest number of winners: 49 projects had received grants from the federal budget in 7 years (from 2018 to 2022). The total amount of grants already disbursed amounted to almost 3 billion rubles. This year, the development of financing for 7 facilities totaling 585.9 million rubles has begun.,

In 2020, at the initiative of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan launched the implementation of the unique "Our Yard" program, which has no analogues in Russia in terms of scale. Over the past 5 years, 5,174 house territories have been landscaped in the amount of 44 billion rubles. In 2025, it is planned to equip another 678 courtyards with a funding limit of 10 billion rubles.
