The award ceremony of the Second All—Russian Parks of Russia Award took place on April 23 in Moscow as part of the country's main park event - the V International Exhibition and Conference ParkSeason Expo, the BRICS Parks Forum and the All-Russian Meeting of Park Directors and the International Congress of Amusement Parks and Amusement Manufacturers.
The Elmai Children's Park in Kazan is the largest play space in the city, where children can explore unique equipment and educational routes. The main theme of the park is the Kazanka River, which is inextricably linked with the history and life of the city and has become a source of inspiration for architects. The bends of the old Kazanka riverbed have determined the tracing of footpaths, and on the "Scientific Routes" children explore the river in a playful way through geography, history, biology and ecology.
The park is divided into zones for different age groups: there is a space for kids with ladders and paths, a zone for teenagers, active games and games with water.
It should be noted that the Award nominees are evaluated by the quality of the park's landscaping, infrastructure, popularity, media coverage, and experience in participating in the federal project "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment" and competitions.
Last year, the park award was given to the extreme park on Koshevoy Street in the city of Laishevo in the nomination "Park of the Year. Small towns".
