In Naberezhnye Chelny, the overhaul of the 578 m long section of the pressure collector sewage networks along Yashlek Avenue has been completed. The work was carried out under the federal program "Modernization of municipal infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The financing exceeded 17 million 987 thousand rubles.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the sewage pressure collector with a total length of 2.07 km was commissioned in 1976, now wear is more than 80% and occurs due to exposure to hydrogen sulfide vapors, which is formed during the transportation of wastewater. In some places, experts recorded the destruction of the upper arch of the reinforced concrete structure, and breaches were repeatedly repaired. The inner surface of the pipes has numerous ulcerative corrosion.
In order to eliminate the intensive corrosion process, it was decided to start a major overhaul of these networks. The work will be continued in 2026-2027. As a result of the project, the quality of services will improve for the 28,610 residents of Yashlek Avenue.
Recall that in 2025, 36 facilities will be upgraded under the national project "Infrastructure for Life", including 29 facilities with a total length of more than 46 km in Naberezhnye Chelny.
In addition, this year, at the initiative of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, a republican program was launched, which includes 100 facilities. Thus, according to two programs, 136 engineering infrastructure facilities are being modernized in Tatarstan.
As previously reported by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, work is underway at 128 sites, the total implementation of the programs is 45%.
