In Naberezhnye Chelny, builders have completely renovated the main water supply networks of 52 complexes along Moskovsky Avenue with a length of 1.2 km. The reconstruction was carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" with financing of 35 million 370 thousand rubles.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the pipeline was put into operation in 1976, the internal and external surfaces have numerous corrosion, and the waterproofing of the pipes is broken. Emergency situations were repeatedly recorded in the surveyed areas. The total wear of the pipeline exceeds 80%.
During the overhaul, the old cast-iron pipeline with a diameter of 300 mm was replaced with a more durable multi-layer polyethylene pipeline. The valves and facetted parts were updated and the structures of 16 wells were restored. The laying of the water pipeline was carried out by horizontal directional drilling. The result of the work carried out will be uninterrupted provision of household drinking water and fire-fighting water supply to more than 11 thousand people in 52 complexes.
In total, 29 facilities with a total length of more than 46 km will be repaired in Naberezhnye Chelny under the national project – over 1.88 billion rubles have been allocated for this purpose. Construction and installation work has been completed at 7 sites.
It should be recalled that within the framework of the national project, measures are planned to renovate 36 facilities for a total amount of 3.15 billion rubles. The program also includes 3 facilities in Almetyevsk district, one each in Bugulminsky, Zelenodolsk, Leninogorsk and Chistopol districts.
In addition, this year, the republican program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure was launched with a financing volume of 8.5 billion rubles, which was initiated by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. It includes 100 objects.
