Major repairs have been completed in Kazan Library No. 25 at 47 Begimova Street. The work was carried out under the federal project "Family Values and Cultural infrastructure", which is part of the national project "Family".

The total area of the library is 259 square meters. The facade of the facility was renovated, windows, doors, flooring and electrical equipment were replaced. The walls and ceilings were also finished, the internal engineering systems of water supply, sanitation, ventilation and air conditioning were repaired. In addition, as part of creating accessibility for people with limited mobility, the builders have equipped an adapted entrance group.

After major repairs, the library has a comfortable conference room and spacious book halls.

The library was founded in 1932 and is considered one of the oldest in the city. It changed its location several times: at first it was located on Volgogradskaya Street, and in the 1960s it moved to the dormitory of the Kazan Gorbunov Aviation Plant at 47 Begimov Street, where the main visitors were youth workers. It is located here to this day.

18.46 million rubles were allocated for the overhaul of the library, of which 3.88 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget.
