The second stage of improvement of the boulevard along Serov Street is coming to an end in Kazan. Work is underway on an area of 8,227 square meters. Under the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". 208 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes.
According to the State State Institution "Main Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Tatarstan", the public space renovation program includes the installation of electricity, water supply, and storm sewers. Now the workers are planting trees and shrubs, covering the lawn. Construction workers are completing the installation of pedestrian and bike paths, video surveillance systems and automatic irrigation.
It is also planned to install information stands and small architectural forms on the boulevard: tables, benches, urns.
The boulevard on Serov Street will become a cozy place for recreation and sports for residents of the microdistrict.
Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, pays special attention to the improvement of public spaces. In 2025, 61 facilities are planned to be renovated in the republic. Of these, 51 are under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" and 10 are under the republican program for the formation of a modern urban environment. Of these, 38 are in work, and 80% are completed.
The total amount of allocated funds exceeds 1 billion 896 million rubles.
