Improvement of public spaces in Tatarstan is 98% completed%
In 2025, the improvement programs included 61 parks and squares with financing of over 1 billion 896 million rubles. This was announced last Saturday by Acting Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Aizatullin.
According to the acting head of the Ministry of Construction, work on 10 facilities under the republican program has been fully completed. 51 facilities are included in the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" with financing of 1 billion 710 million rubles, of which 244 million are funds from the republican budget. "Over the past two weeks, contractors have reported on the completion of 9 facilities – two in Verkhneuslonsky district and one each in Kazan, Arsky, Nurlatsky, Tetyushsky, Zainsky and Nizhnekamsk districts of the republic," said Marat Aizatullin.
Among other things, the opening of the park on Mislavsky Street in Kazan took place. During its improvement, considerable attention was paid to landscaping: on an area of 615 square meters. 1,800 shrubs have been planted. There is also a three-meter Zilant symbol of the coat of arms of Kazan, small architectural forms are installed: two miniature Zilants and tulips decorated the lighting poles at the entrance group of the square. The fountain and arch have been updated.
Currently, the improvement of 8 parks and squares in Naberezhnye Chelny, Chistopolsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Mendeleevsky, Bugulminsky, Zelenodolsk and Nizhnekamsk districts is continuing. Their fulfillment by the current date is fixed at 98%.
