Repair and restoration work at the Republican wrestling sports school has been completed in Mamadysh
The repair and restoration work of the building of the Republican sports school of the Olympic reserve in wrestling has been completed in Mamadysh.
The sports school is located in the house of merchant Zhukov, an object of cultural heritage built in 1910.
The restoration of the house began in 2024. Then the builders carried out a whole range of works: strengthening walls, foundations, installation of engineering systems for water supply and sewerage, electricity, electric lighting, heating, installation of shut-off waterproofing. The restoration of roof elements, facade, exterior door blocks, and decorative balcony fencing was also carried out.
In 2025, roofing and facade works, reinforcement of foundations, arches, repair of engineering and technical service networks, and interior decoration were carried out at the facility. New equipment and furniture were purchased and installed for the school.
The Olympic Reserve School has winners of European, world, and international championships, including the BRICS Games, among its students. The training of athletes who win prizes in major competitions is one of the main goals of the State Program "Sport of Russia".
The wrestling school in Mamadysh is included in the republican program of major repairs and reconstruction of sports facilities. In total, 20 facilities in 15 municipalities of Tatarstan have been repaired this year under this program for the amount of 636.4 million rubles.
