Marat Aizatullin: Many contractors systematically violate labor protection requirements on construction sites
Preventive work to prevent occupational injuries and monitor compliance with occupational safety standards on construction sites does not stop. This was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin. Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts of the Rais of Tatarstan.
Since the beginning of the year, relevant departments and self-regulatory organizations have conducted 2,460 inspections, which resulted in disciplinary action in 1,393 cases.
The Gosstroynadzor Inspectorate conducted 1,745 inspections during the same period. The department's specialists issued 567 resolutions on administrative responsibility.
The Main Investment and Construction Department has carried out 2,519 control and supervisory activities since the beginning of the year. The inspections revealed 5,571 violations of labor legislation, of which 5,459 have already been eliminated.
"Unfortunately, many contractors systematically violate labor protection requirements, so all participants in the construction process must strictly comply with the law," stressed Marat Aizatullin.
