The ice arena of the Sports Palace in Kazan has been renovated

The ice arena of the Sports Palace has been completely renovated in Kazan.

The builders carried out a complex of works: dismantling of the hockey box and hockey boxes, installation of the support wall, reinforcement of the podiums of the boxes and the wall of the collector channel. A hockey board also installed and installed a water treatment plant.

The Sports Palace in Kazan was opened in 1966 and until 2005 its ice arena served as the home ground of the Ak Bars hockey club. It was here that Kazan hockey players became champions of Russia for the first time in the 1997-1998 season.
