Of the 126 identified labor protection violations in the construction industry of Tatarstan, 53 have been eliminated so far

The construction industry is one of the most injury–prone industries, therefore, the prevention of occupational injuries and the formation of a culture of safe work is the main task this year.

Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, drew attention to this issue at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts of the Tatarstan.

"The control and supervisory authorities have started their work. The State Construction Supervision Inspectorate has conducted 9 inspections since the beginning of the year, and 14 resolutions on administrative responsibility have been issued," Damir Shaidullin said. - The facilities included in the state programs are checked by specialists of the Main Investment and Construction Department. Since the beginning of the year, they have organized 58 control and supervisory activities. Of the 126 violations identified, 53 have been eliminated so far."

The First Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan recalled that in order to intensify work to improve working conditions and prevent occupational injuries, a republican competition "The best occupational safety organization in the construction industry" has been held in Tatarstan since 2004. Letters have been sent to the heads of municipalities requesting candidates to participate in this competition.
