The trend of low payment discipline of the population for housing and communal services in the first half of the year has been revealed

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin reported on the statistics of collection of payments for housing and communal services from the population and the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations at a meeting in the Government House today.

Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan, held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts.

According to Marat Aizatullin, monitoring of the population's payment discipline for housing and communal services in recent years has revealed a trend of low collection of payments in the first half of the year with an increase in the percentage of collection in the second.

"Thus, the level of collection of payments by the population in the republic in January of this year decreased by 0.7% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 95%," said the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The share of payments in electronic format in the total volume reached 82%.

The amount of overdue debt for gas as of February 1 amounted to about 226 million rubles, which is lower than the same indicator last year by more than 3 million rubles.

Marat Aizatullin called on municipalities, together with managers and resource supply organizations, to continue working with the population to reduce debt for housing and communal services.
