In Naberezhnye Chelny, builders have begun to overhaul the sewage networks along Yashlek Avenue.
Installation work began in 2025 and is included in the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" with financing of 43 million rubles.
According to the General Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan, the steel pipeline on Yashlek Avenue with a total length of 2 km was commissioned in 1973. During this period, emergency situations were repeatedly eliminated here. As a result of the examinations, numerous ulcerative corrosion of the inner surface of the pipes and a violation of waterproofing were revealed. The wear of drainage networks currently exceeds 85%.
This year, 945 m of polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 400 mm will be laid. The work is scheduled to be completed in September.
The modernization of this facility will provide high-quality services for 7335 residents of Naberezhnye Chelny.
In total, 15 municipal infrastructure facilities will be repaired in Naberezhnye Chelny under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
As part of the national project, it is planned to modernize 17 facilities for a total amount of 2.5 billion rubles. The program also includes 2 facilities in Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk districts.
