Brick factories of Tatarstan fully provide the construction complex of the republic
The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan held an annual meeting dedicated to the activities of brick factories in Tatarstan. It was attended by heads of enterprises, representatives of the Microfinance Center "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan", the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, KGASU and the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Kazan.
Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimayev made a final report on the work of the construction industry and the building materials industry in 2025. In particular, he stressed that the construction materials industry in the region, including brick factories, makes a huge contribution to the development of Tatarstan's construction industry. There are currently 14 brick factories operating in the republic, which produce 657 million bricks per year.
"The production facilities of the republican enterprises allow us to produce all the basic building materials and fully supply our construction complex. The volume of products shipped in 2025 by large and medium-sized enterprises alone amounted to about 51.7 billion rubles," Ilshat Gimaev said.
The construction industry of the republic continues its development. In the last 5 years alone, 42 enterprises have been commissioned and modernized, including 6 production facilities in 2025.
During the meeting, existing state support measures for enterprises were presented, acute problems of the brick industry and tasks for 2026-2027 were discussed.
