More than 2.6 billion rubles allocated for the improvement of 51 public spaces in Tatarstan

In 2026, it is planned to improve 51 public spaces in Tatarstan with funding exceeding 2.6 billion rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, at a meeting held today at the Government House.

The meeting was chaired via videoconference by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

Within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” 42 public territories will be transformed with a budget of 1.744 billion rubles. Of these, 36 facilities in 31 municipalities will be implemented under the federal program “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment.” The project also includes 6 facilities that became winners of the 10th All-Russian competition for small towns and historical settlements.

Under the republican program “Development of Public Spaces,” 2 facilities are being implemented with a budget of 199 million rubles.

The minister also reminded that in 2026, the improvement of 7 public spaces–winners of the 9th All-Russian competition–will be completed, with more than 473.9 million rubles allocated.

Construction has begun on the third stage of the embankment improvement of Lake Karasikha in the settlement of Vasilyevo, Zelenodolsk district. Work on other sites will begin in late April – early May depending on seasonal conditions.
