The best finishing works specialist was determined in Tatarstan
The regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Best in Profession” in the category “Finishing Works Specialist” was held at the Kazan Construction College.
Representatives of LLC “Remontstroyservice,” the Suvar Group of Companies, and the municipal enterprise “Metroelektrotrans” took part in the competition. They were required to complete tasks in accordance with professional standards for installers of frame-sheathed structures, tilers, and painters.
During the theoretical stage, participants answered questions on occupational safety and work organization. The practical part consisted of several stages: assembling a frame from a metal profile, covering it with drywall, puttying, wallpapering, and painting.
The winner of the regional stage was Tatyana Mikhaylova, a finishing specialist from Kazan-based LLC “Remontstroyservice.” She will represent the republic at the federal stage, which is expected to take place in the third quarter.
Tatyana Mikhaylova has been working in the industry for more than 15 years and has participated in the construction and renovation of many social and cultural facilities in the republic. However, this is her first time taking part in a professional skills competition.
“I was a bit nervous, of course. The most difficult part was assembling the frame, but I managed it. Overall, I really liked it. I was able to test my knowledge, share my experience, and meet wonderful colleagues!” said Tatyana Nikolaevna.
The All-Russian competition “Best in Profession” has been held since 2012 for the most in-demand working professions across various sectors of the economy. Since 2025, it has been included in the program of the national project “Human Resources.” Its goals include increasing the prestige of working professions, developing professional competencies, and supporting qualified personnel.
