Capital repairs are underway in 296 apartment buildings in Tatarstan – overall completion has reached 15%

At a meeting held today at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, reported on the progress of the apartment building capital repair program.

The meeting was held via videoconference with all municipal districts and chaired by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

The minister noted that this year, 706 apartment buildings in 41 municipalities of Tatarstan will undergo capital repair. In addition, 99 elevators will be replaced in 44 buildings located in Kazan, Almetyevsk, Yelabuga, Zainsk, Zelenodolsk, and Nizhnekamsk districts.

“Electronic auctions are ongoing. Contractors have been selected for work in 487 apartment buildings. Tenders have been announced for 17 buildings. For the remaining facilities, the Housing and Utilities Fund will announce auctions after the updated funding limits are approved,” said Marat Aizatullin.

According to the minister, capital repairs are currently being carried out in 296 apartment buildings across 24 municipalities. The overall completion of construction and installation work has reached 15%.
