In the current year, 14 new sports facilities are planned to be built in Tatarstan. This was recalled by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, at a traditional meeting held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting was conducted via videoconference with all municipal districts by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
Construction of four indoor football arenas in the Leninsk, Alekseevsk, Drozhzhanovsky, and Tyulyachinsky districts has reached 14% of the total volume.
Out of six universal sports площадки, contractors have started work in the Drozhzhanovsky and Mendeleevsky districts. The overall completion is estimated at 3%. Work on the remaining facilities will begin in the first half of May.
Construction of three ice arenas has reached 18%.
The readiness of the largest sports facility — the Football Development Center in Kazan — has reached 71%.
