Dmitry Dmitriev from the Hellas construction company became the best bricklayer in Tatarstan
Tatarstan summed up the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian professional skills competition "The Best by profession" in the "Bricklayer" nomination.
The competition was held on the basis of the Kazan College of Construction, Architecture and Urban Economy and was attended by representatives of the construction companies Ak Tash, Ellada and Builder. The required criteria for participation included work experience in the profession of at least 3 years and additional requirements for the level of education.
During the practical test, the participants carried out the brickwork required by professional standards. The theoretical part included questions on work organization and labor protection.
Dmitry Dmitriev, a bricklayer from SK Ellada LLC in Kazan, became the winner of the regional stage of the competition.
"The tasks of the competition did not seem difficult to me. We laid three rows of plinths, waterproofing, and two modules. Everyone is familiar with labor protection issues, too, because we pay very serious attention to compliance with safety regulations," said Tatarstan's best bricklayer.
Dmitry Dmitriev continued the family dynasty and has been working in the industry for the eighth year. "My father is a builder, both a roofer and a bricklayer. He passed on many of the subtleties of the profession to me," Dmitry said. – I started with cottages, then moved to multi–storey buildings - together with my friendly team we built housing complexes Yaratam, Sunny City, Krylovka Park, Dubravnaya 2.0.
Dmitry Dmitriev will represent Tatarstan at the federal stage, which will be held in the third quarter.
The All-Russian competition "The Best by profession" has been held since 2012 for the most sought-after working professions in various sectors of the economy. Since 2025, he has become part of the federal program "Man of Labor" of the national project "Cadres".
