According to the national project, the internal sewer networks of 31 residential districts of Naberezhnye Chelny are being overhauled.

The internal sewage networks of 31 residential districts are being overhauled in Naberezhnye Chelny. The modernization of this facility is included in the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" with financing of 186.7 million rubles.

According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", workers laid 451 m of polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 800 mm. It remains to replace pipes with a diameter of 500 mm in a section with a length of 1,450 m. 42 of the 49 wells have been installed. Construction and installation work is scheduled to be completed in August. Currently, the facility's readiness is estimated at 55%.

The steel pipeline was built in 1973 and has a wear rate of over 87%.  During operation, the waterproofing of the pipes was disrupted, numerous ulcerative corrosion was recorded on the inner and outer surfaces of the pipes. Gusts were repeatedly eliminated in the surveyed areas.

The repaired sewer networks will provide high-quality services for 28 123 residents of 31 residential districts of Naberezhnye Chelny.

As previously reported by the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, 15 municipal facilities will be renovated in Naberezhnye Chelny under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
