More than 12,000 residents of the 11th Naberezhnye Chelny district will receive high-quality services as a result of the modernization of the water pipeline
Major repairs of water supply networks in 11 residential districts are being completed in Naberezhnye Chelny. The measures are implemented under the federal program "Modernization of communal infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Over 143.4 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the water supply networks of 11 residential districts were built in 1978 and have a wear rate of more than 88%. During the period of operation, the waterproofing of steel pipes was disrupted, and an intensive corrosion process was observed. As a result, the wall thickness was 70% of the thickness of the new pipe. Emergency situations have been repeatedly recorded in the areas under repair.
Construction and installation work at the facility began in May and was completed by 88%. 3,497 m of polyethylene pipes of various diameters were laid out of 4,049 m. The major renovation of the water pipeline is scheduled to be completed during August.
As a result, the quality of services will improve for 12,714 residents of the 11th district.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, reported that this year, 15 municipal facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny will be modernized under the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
