Apartment Building Major Repair Program in Tatarstan 89% Complete
Implementation of the major repair program for apartment buildings is proceeding actively. Marat Aizatullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Tatarstan, announced this today at a meeting held at the Republic of Tatarstan Government House.
The meeting was chaired by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
"This year, the program includes 813 buildings located across 41 municipalities. Additionally, plans are in place to replace 126 elevators in 57 residential buildings across six municipalities," the Minister stated.
Work is currently underway on 383 apartment buildings, while repairs have been completed on 343. The program's overall completion rate stands at 89%.
Marat Aizatullin noted that seasonal work has yet to be finished in 230 apartment buildings—specifically in 65 buildings in Kazan, 33 in the Nizhnekamsk District, 12 in the Yelabuga District, and 10 in the Bugulma District, spanning a total of 31 municipalities.
"The deadline for completing the entire scope of work is September 30," the Minister reminded the attendees.
