An economic and household sewerage system is being built for residents of three Naberezhnye Chelny settlements
On the territory of the villages of Krasnye Chelny, Orlovka and Sidorovka of Naberezhnye Chelny, a domestic sewage system is being built. Construction under the federal program Modernization of municipal infrastructure of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" began in 2025 and will be completed at the end of September.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the old steel pipeline was built in 1972 and its wear exceeded 82% during the period of operation. An intensive corrosion process of the inner and outer surfaces of the pipes was recorded here, and breakthroughs were repeatedly eliminated.
About 182.5 million rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the facility this year. Of the 233 wells, 227 of a new type have already been installed with an additional inner polymer layer to protect against aggressive environments and biological influences. As a result, the service life of the structure will exceed 50 years.
More than 6 km of drainage pipes of various diameters have also been laid.
The total completion of construction and installation work has reached 97%.
As a result of the construction, services for 9843 residents of the settlements will be improved.
In Naberezhnye Chelny, 15 municipal facilities worth 1.8 billion rubles will be upgraded in 2026 under the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
