Tatarstan plans to repair 13 children's health camps

According to Tatarstan Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Minister Irek Fayzullin, 159 educational institutions are planned to be repaired for a total of 2.55 billion roubles in 2014. He stated this at the republic-wide meeting at Tatarstan Government House, chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Fayzullin said that supplying schools with lavatories with central heating had been completed. As for children recreational camps' capital repairs, a dedicated program has been approved for 2014, allocating 100 million roubles to restoring 13 camps. The work is due to be completed by the middle of May.

In 2014, 135 venues are to be re-equipped within the Accessible Environment program, including 114 schools in 42 Tatarstan municipalities.

Another 69.9 million roubles will be allocated to replacing the boilers in social sphere’s boiler-houses. Gas Infrastructure Development Fund has assessed 864 boilers in 587 boiler-houses, and has prepared recommendations to replace the out-of-date equipment with the new energy-efficient boilers, showing a performance coefficient of no less than 92 percent.

Water Supply in Rural Areas program was approved in the republic. It involves building 328 km of water grids, drilling 28 artesian wells and installing 38 water tanks. The program allocates a total of 690 million roubles to 115 items.

Talking about the street lighting program in rural areas, Fayzullin reported that 225 million roubles would be spent on installing 12,920 lamps, 819 switchboards, 675 objects, etc.

Rustam Minnikhanov commented on the street lighting program, asking to pay special attention to energy-efficient equipment and lamps, the presidential press service reports.
