Rustam Minnikhanov: Accessible and comfortable housing to be provided for Tatarstan citizens in accordance with Russian President’s May decrees

On August 6, at a board session of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Services in Mamadysh region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that accessible and comfortable housing will be provided for Tatarstan citizens in accordance with Russian President’s May decrees.
Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that planned targets on construction of 1.5 million m² of housing must be reached by 2017.
The President also focused on priority construction programmes to be implemented, mentioning social mortgage, rental housing, especially in such areas as Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” and “Innopolis”. Besides, occupational health and safety compliance is very important. The republic needs highly skilled builders and specialists working with building materials, he continued.
The President also reminded participants of the meeting about substantial work to be done before the heating season.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated employees of the Ministry of Construction on Builder’s day and handed state awards to the most distinguished workers.
The task set for Tatarstan in terms of the number of participants in the All-Russian vote for facilities prioritized for improvement in 2027 was completed: as of June 5, 421,764 residents of the republic made their choice with a plan of 405,000.
Information on the implementation of the program of capital repairs of apartment buildings this year was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
In the village of Krasnaya Gorka, Mamadyshsky district, the overhaul of the two-storey building of the House of culture built in 1993, which began in 2025, continues. The facility is included in the federal program "Family Values and Cultural infrastructure" of the national project "Family".
