Сriminal liability will be imposed to Managment Housing Companies.

Deputy Chairman of the state Duma Committee for housing policy and utilities Alexander Sidyakin has prepared a bill on amendments to the criminal code of Russia. The amendments introduce criminal liability for hindering the exercise of the right to decision-making at the General meeting of proprietors of premises in apartment houses, as well as responsibility for falsification of the decision of General meeting of proprietors of premises.

Alexander Sidyakin offers to impose greater liability for violations of the rights of residents and falsification of documents.  It is suggested responsibility from a fine up to 100 thousand roubles or in the amount of the salary of the convict for the period of 6 months to correctional labor for up to 1 year.The same acts connected with bribery, deceit, coercion, force or the threat of its use, as well as committed by a group with prior agreement, are punishable by a fine of up to 500 thousand roubles, forced labor for up to 5 years or imprisonment up to 5 years and a fine.
