The Ministry of construction and housing and communal services are worried that banks are beginning to raise the rate on the mortgage, and asks the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to pay attention to the Central Bank. The mortgage rate for the first half amounted to 12.2%, which is slightly lower than last year (12.3 per cent).
"But market participants are worried about the fact that a number of banks begins adjustments. Today large banks still keep the situation, but the number of small banks begins to adjust (bet) upwards", - said the head of Ministry of construction, Mikhail Men today at the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Medvedev has promised to give such instruction to support the development of mortgage lending informed RIA "Novosti".
