Experts discussed the transport system of the Republic and the development of the eco-zones

On 26th of September in the framework of the project site "Space, infrastructure, real capital" it was held  expert consultation dedicated to the issues of high-speed transport links in the country and to discuss the draft eco-zone "Volga-Kama flow". During the discussion it was considered comments and suggestions from the representatives of the ministries of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as representatives of the expert community.

The designers were given recommendations for updating the priority of the proposed projects and to involve in discussion with other stakeholders, in particular representatives of Russian Railways. A separate part of the discussion was devoted to the events in the rapidly developing Kazan and Kama agglomerations.  At the workshop " Project Eco-zone "Volga-Kama" -settlement system, infrastructure, project management model. Strategy developers presented the idea of creating a unified program for integrated planning and development of the coastal areas of the Volga and Kama rivers. The main emphasis was placed on recreation, tourism and residential use of these areas, improving the connectivity of the coastal towns and villages, their development not only as service centers, but also as a full-fledged elements of the settlement system of the Republic.
