1,816,500 square metres of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On October 25, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that 1,816,500 square metres of housing (75.7 per cent of the annual plan) were commissioned in the republic as of October 24. 

According to the Minister, 94 houses with total area of 253.7 thousand square metres have been commissioned under social mortgage programme, 52 rental houses were to be built in 2014. Also, 22 houses are to be built for veterans of Great Patriotic War. 

The housing construction programme also includes 824 families with 5 and more children. 37 certificates have been issued from the beginning of the year. 
It was also noted that 45 of 47 village clubs were built in 2014. 

Speaking about labour protection, Irek Faizullin said that a joint session of Tatarstan branch of Russian labour union of builders, union of builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, and interdepartmental working group on preparation of the building organizations for work in autumn-winter period 2014-2015 was held on October 24. 

Also, Tatarstan Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Labour are planning to hold a cluster seminar “Improvement of working conditions as a measure to reduce industrial injuries in the sphere of construction” on October 30. 

Ildar Khalikov also called for completing the programme of housing construction for orphan children till the end of the year. 

CEO of the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Talgat Abdullin told about implementation of the social mortgage programme.
