As many as 94,700 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On January 17, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as of January 16, 2015 as many as 94,700 square meters of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan.
Faizullin said that since the beginning of 2015 work on implementation of housing construction programme has started in all regional municipalities.
As of January 16, 2015 eight houses with a total area of 9,000 square meters for 186 apartments have been commissioned under the social mortgage programme.
The Minister reminded that construction of 11 houses for 66 veterans of the World War II are underway in the republic.
Within the framework of celebrations of the 70-anniversary since victory in World War II, it is planned to commission six houses for 25 veterans before May 9, 2015.
He continued to report that it is planned to provide housing for 331 orphans in 2015. For this purpose, 356 million 420 thousand roubles will be allocated from federal and regional budgets.
Besides, 41 clubs will be built under the programme “Rural clubs” in 2015.
Executive Director of State Housing Fund under Tatarstan President Talgat Abdullin made a report on implementation of social mortgage programme in the republic.
Today, a briefing was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan on ensuring the safe operation of gas equipment in residential buildings in the Republic.
Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the briefing.
The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Minister Marat Aizatullin, held a meeting on problematic issues in the housing and communal services sector.
The construction industry is one of the most injury–prone industries, therefore, the prevention of occupational injuries and the formation of a culture of safe work is the main task this year.
