More than 600 thousand Russians have improved the living conditions of their homes after a major overhaul. This was announced by Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men today on videoconference on the implementation of regional programs overhaul of the common property in apartment houses and resettlement of citizens from emergency housing. Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, First Deputy Minister Alexei Frolov.
According to the Ministry of Construction of Russia Mikhail Men, about 5 thousand houses with a total area of more than 14 million square meters renovated this year in Russia under the program overhaul. "The aim is to repair more than 30 million homes this year, plans for the formation of regions taking on these obligations and must fulfill them", - said Mikhail Men.
It is also discussed the implementation of measures to move people from emergency housing.
He stressed that one of the main problems is the issue of quality of housing.
Mikhail Men also announced the launch of a "hot line" in the regions to verify the quality of housing.
