TANECO Refining Complex plans to launch comprehensive testing of a delayed coking unit by the end of 2015. It will be of the greatest power in Russia. It was announced today at an international conference in Nizhnekamsk for deep oil refining by CEO of Tatneft Nail Maganov.

According to him, in addition, the introduction of new hydrotreating units would eliminate the release of fuel oil. Cox planned to be used as fuel for Nizhnekamsk thermoelectric plant. The content of gases after combustion will comply with European norms, which are planned to be entered. By doing this, a single series of own waste-free production of energy resources will be formed.

In the second half of 2016, commissioning of process plants is scheduled, thanks to which TANECO will begin to produce Euro-5 motor gasoline.

TANECO’s capacity is also planned to increase up to 14 million tonnes from the current nine million tonnes per year.

Nail Maganov believes that TANECO will processed almost half of the republic’s annual production of oil and turn into highly liquid finished products. Taking into account TAIF-NK, the total refining capacity of Tatarstan will reach not less than 21 million tonnes per year.

Tatneft has already begun construction of a crude oil distillation, the second stage of TANECO. Its launch is scheduled for early 2018.

Upon completion of TANECO project, refining depth will total to 97 percent, the yield of light oil products - 90 percent.
