18 February 2016, Thursday

Tatarstan Preisdent Rustam Minnikhanov today visits the Mamadysh region, where he is scheduled to attend a meeting of the region’s council dealing with socio-economic performance in 2015 and tasks for 2016.

Before the meeting, the governor attended the opening of a 40-flat residence on Centralnaia Street in the Mamadysh collective farm’s village. The 5-storey building was completed last December. Twenty six flats are provided within a low-cost mortgage plan, 3 within hazardous dwelling resettlement plan, 10 go to orphaned children, while one is to be sold. The cost of the building is 50.1 million roubles.

Other attendees at the opening were State Housing Fund executive director Talgat Abdulllin and Mamadysh region chief executive Anatoly Ivanov.

“In recent years, 1.5 thousand flats have been built for “hazardous” residents. The Mamadysh farm opens its sixth building in this microdistrict today,” Anatoly Ivanov said, thanking authorities for continuing housing plans.

“Mamadysh is beyond recognition. Each time we come here, we see new facilities, new production lines,” Rustam Minnikhanov commented.

He congratulated the new move-ins. “What matters the most is there are prospects in constructing housing. This work will be continued,” Tatarstan president stressed.

Rustam Minnikhanov then visited flat No 12, purchased by the family of Rival Shamusutdinov within a low-cost mortgage plan.

Tatarstan President visited the Mamadysh Polytechnic College as well, where training is provided in five specialities, including agriculture mechanisation, economics and accounting, public catering technology, hardware and software operator, and automotive transport maintenance. The college has 680 students.

Accompanied by Tatarstan Education and Science Minister Engel Fattakhov, he viewed a display of technical and culinary art, as well as classrooms and equipment. Last year, a renovation costing 101 million roubles took place at the college.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the local industrial works, where major renovation costing 10 million roubles had been performed in 2011-2015.
