Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new building of the perinatal center of Rebupical Hospital

The new building of the perinatal centre of the Republican Clinical Hospital was visited by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He was accompanied by RT Vice-Premier Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Tatarstan Minister of health Adel Vafin, mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.

Construction of a medical facility started two years ago. A new modern perinatal center will be one of the 32 establishments that is planned to open this year in Russia. Today, all construction work came to an end. At the moment there are last preparations. According to Adel Vafin, the first visitors here are willing to accept in the early autumn.

During the inspection of a new building of the Tatarstan President visited the operational unit, individual ancestral halls and chambers of mother and child.

The Minister told Rustam Minnikhanov that the new center is equipped with modern equipment which will allow to provide advanced and specialized medical care to children born prematurely and women with a high risk group.

Childbirth in a new building with 195 beds will take place in ten modern individual delivery rooms where it is possible to make new dad and relatives. In the neonatal intensive care unit of 16 beds assumes the availability of modern respiratory equipment to maintain breathing, prematurity, modern incubators with a certain temperature and humidity to create a comfortable environment for nursing. Neonatal monitors connected to a Central station will allow you to track the status of 16 children. For further nursing of young patients will be transferred to the Department of pathology of newborns. The postpartum unit for 70 beds will be located on two floors, where stipulated joint stay of mother and child.

Rustam Minnikhanov went to the current unit of the perinatal center, where a solemn statement to Julia Malova and her newborn Sophia. President of Tatarstan congratulated Malovich family with the birth of the third child and wished them good health.
