The results of the survey on "Growth of tariffs for housing and communal services in Kazan"

Centre of public control in the sphere of housing and communal services of Tatarstan in the period from 1st of August to 1st of October was conducted a population survey on "Growth of tariffs for housing and communal services in Kazan". 

The aim of the survey was the examination and identification of assessment of satisfaction of residents of the city the quality of housing and communal services.

The study showed, for the vast majority of inhabitants of Kazan the increase in growth of tariffs for housing and communal services became a serious burden. Especially the growth rates in the housing sector affects the people of older generation. The main part of our population is aware of different methods of saving utility resources, including the installation of individual meters, use energy-saving lamps. More than half of the respondents are willing to personally participate in the management of their building, including in the organization of his maintenance, renovations. 76% of respondents are not satisfied with the quality of rendered housing and utility services as well as maintenance of the General property in an apartment house.
