The further development of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is impossible without qualified personnel, formed and Mature in the labour market. This was stated today by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at meeting of Economic Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issue.
The meeting was devoted to the development of the labor market in Tatarstan and was held in video conference format with all municipal regions of Republic.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the unemployment rate in Tatarstan is lower than the national average and indicators in the Volga Federal district (PFO), and is 3.8% of the working population.
While there are serious issues of "gray market" of labor, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Addressing to heads of municipalities, he asked together with the Ministry of labour and social protection intensify efforts to reduce "gray market" of labor to identify employers who pay wages below a certain Federal level.
Tatarstan President noted that today, half of the 35 thousand available vacancies in the market sector of construction and manufacturing. Thus there is a surplus of trained professionals, less than half of them realize their professional capabilities in the chosen specialty.
"In this regard, major changes requires a system of formation and redistribution of control figures of admission to universities, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. - In the first place, should not be considered the capacity of educational institutions and the needs of enterprises in personnel".
