December 1-4 in Gothenburg (Sweden) hosted the championship EuroSkills 2016. It was attended by teams of all 28 countries, including the Russian team composed of 43 people.
National team WorldSkills Russia has got on the championship of working professions EuroSkills in Gothenburg with two gold medals in the category "electronics" (Maxim Kadnikov, lecturer of Ural radio engineering College) and "Refrigeration and air conditioning" (Vadim Polyakov, an employee of the company "PP "Techint" GC "Forteks", Tatarstan).
Vadim Polyakov of the Republic of Tatarstan (the supervising Ministry – the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan) – previously the winner of the Russian National championship of the "Young professionals" - WorldSkills Russia in 2016.
Silver got Alena Kirdina in competitions in graphic design, and in addition Oscar Arslanov and Emil Miftakhov (Kazan College of information and communication technology) knowledge in the field of mobile robotics. And Alexander Gorbachev and Leonid Shmakov were third among professionals in information technology.
The winners in the competence of the "Mobile robotics" Oscar Arslanov and Emil Miftakhov in the third year of the Kazan technical school of information technology and communication. They told reporters that in order to win they had to "build a robot and write him a program so he could perform the job during archaeological excavations to help archaeologists".
National team WorldSkills Russia was represented by 43 participants – winners and prize-winners of the national Championships for professional skills from 18 countries participated in competitions for 36 competencies (Republic of Tatarstan was represented by 4 participants for 3 competencies, as well as 1 participant out of the competition). The total number of medals Russia on the 7th place.
All the fight took place in 35 competencies, the Russian team participated in the 32. EuroSkills is the biggest competition in Europe for professional skills for young people up to 25 years. The championship is held every two years.
