Irek Faizullin took part in the workshop on the development of the territory of the Novo-Tatarskaya Sloboda

Workshop on the development of the territory of the Novo-Tatarskaya Sloboda and implementation of the project "The Kazan financial district" was held today by  Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin.

The event was held at the RT Government House. Alexei Pesoshin noted that at the present time in Kazan is a serious work on the development of urban infrastructure. Develop a new master plan involves the development of free territories within the city, removal from the center of the industrial enterprises and update of the territory on which they were located.

Implementation of the project "The Kazan financial district" provides for a comprehensive renovation of the Novo-Tatarskaya Sloboda with the withdrawal of warehouses and industrial productions for the territory of the city. On this site it is planned to create new business centre of Kazan with the preservation of historical, cultural and natural recreational facilities.

"Works on preparation of the concept was conducted by the office of architecture and urban planning Executive Committee of Kazan together with the Kazan state architectural-building University and the Malaysian-Russian consortium," said Alexei Pesoshin.

He recalled that earlier Malaysian designers familiarized themselves with the area of Novo-Tatarskaya Sloboda, visited industrial facilities, studying engineering, road and social infrastructure, has analyzed the economic potential of the territory.

The meeting was attended by first Deputy RT Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin, the Deputy Prime Minister of RT – Minister of industry and trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, head of Tatarstan investment development Agency Taliya Minullina, the President of Fund of development of Islamic business and Finance, Linar Yakupov and others.
